Sweet tea production unit (STPU)
A "sweet tea production unit" (STPU) is the basic unit of sweet tea measurement. It is the minimum amount that can be created in one production run. An STPU is something less than two gallons.

Assuming normal consumption and the average number of household visitors, the following table estimates the time it takes to consume one STPU based on the number of sweet tea drinkers:

1 drinker - 2 to 3 days
2 drinkers - 1 to 3 days
3 drinkers - 1 to 2 days
4 or more - may need to make 2 or more STPUs at a time

You may increase the number of STPUs created in a production run as long as you can consume them in 4 days or less. But the freshest tea is obtained by producing less STPUs at a time resulting in shorter intervals.
